Let us pay: Struggling with soaring costs of food, fuel, rent

The Daily News reports, “Prices for everything from food to fuel have hit record highs. And although some economists hesitate to use the word “recession,” many area residents have been forced to take a recess from their cars, their nonessential groceries and, for some, their rent or utilities.”
